Notes

'Orange Monarch' autumn crocus (Crocus olivieri 'Orange Monarch') is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and most soil types. It grows only 3 to 4 inches tall, so plant it near the front. Its orange flowers open in early to late spring and attract bees.

Pairs well with Common snowdrop, Lenten rose, and Tree peony.
