Notes

'Orange Pumpkin' avens (Geum coccineum 'Orange Pumpkin') is a perennial. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Fully double, ruffled orange flowers rise on long stems above a compact mound of green leaves from spring to early autumn. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Cut back old stems and flowers to stimulate more blooming.

Pairs well with Daffodil, Golden club, and Grape hyacinth.
