Notes

'Orange Queen' bishop's hat (Epimedium warleyense 'Orange Queen') is a perennial for borders, ground cover, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It stays evergreen and tolerates drought once settled. Bees visit its orange flowers. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Lady fern, Liverleaf, and Western sword fern.
