Notes
'Orca' tulip (Tulipa 'Orca') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Its orange blooms open in early to late spring. The flowers are fragrant, so they are nice to cut for a vase. Plants reach about 12 inches tall.
Pairs well with Peach Blossom tulip, Armenian grape hyacinth, and Spiked speedwell.
