Notes

'Oscar' weeping yaupon holly (Ilex vomitoria 'Oscar') is a shrub for borders, containers, specimen planting, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows at a rapid rate and stays evergreen. Greenish white flowers open in early to late spring and draw bees and butterflies. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Sasanqua camellia, Mondo grass, Carolina jessamine, and Big bluestem.
