Notes

'Nana' weeping yaupon holly (Ilex vomitoria 'Nana') is a shrub for borders, hedges, privacy screens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Greenish white spring flowers are fragrant and draw butterflies, bees, and birds. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. This evergreen also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Sasanqua camellia, Mondo grass, Carolina jessamine, and Wild bergamot.
