Notes
'Ottawa' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Ottawa') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its double flowers are rich pink and shade lighter at the base of the petals. Kelsey bred it in 1935. The high, built crown gives the clump a tidy shape.
Pairs well with Aromatic aster, Ostrich fern, and Little Beauty tulip.
