Notes

'Ouhime' rose (Rosa 'Ouhime') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows upright to about 4 or 5 feet tall and has medium green leaves. Medium red flowers open in late spring, again in summer, and again in early autumn, and bees visit them. Hironaka Ōtsuki bred it.

Pairs well with Limelight hydrangea, Blanket flower, and Green Velvet buxus.
