Notes

'Oullins Gage' plum (Prunus domestica 'Oullins Gage') is a tree for food gardens and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. It blooms in early to late spring, and bees and butterflies visit the flowers. The golden fruit has faint red dots and is grown for fresh eating and cooking. Massot bred it in 1860.

Pairs well with Honeycrisp apple, Gertrude Jekyll rose, and Hummelo betony.
