Notes

'Pacific Beauty' peony (Paeonia 'Pacific Beauty') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Medium yellow blooms with pink edges open in early to late spring, and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Derek Irvine bred this cultivar.

Pairs well with Cardinal flower, Sundrops, and Bells of Ireland.
