'Pacific Fire' vine maple (Acer circinatum 'Pacific Fire') is a small tree or shrub for specimen planting, shade gardens, and woodland settings. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and moist, sandy or loamy soil. The bark is light yellow-green in spring and summer. In winter, the trunk and branches turn coral red. It reaches about 8 feet tall and 4 feet wide in 10 years.

Pairs well with Autumn fern, Solomon's seal, and Aureola Japanese forest grass.
