Notes

Pacific onion (Allium validum) is a vegetable for food gardens and meadows. It is typically grown as an annual. It ranks among the more cold-hardy crops, and with some winter protection it keeps growing through light freezes. This plant likes full sun and moist soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Pink flower clusters appear on stems up to 3 feet tall and attract bees.

Pairs well with Carrot, Common comfrey, and Maximilian sunflower.
