Notes

'Pacific Wonderlanz' peony (Paeonia 'Pacific Wonderlanz') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant red to cherry-red blooms open in spring and summer, and they draw butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Derek Irvine bred it in 2001 as a seedling of 'Seidl' #8.

Pairs well with White Feather hosta, Little bluestem, and Charles Joly lilac.
