Notes

'Pallas' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pallas') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, semi-double flowers open in mid spring with long, flesh-pink petals that pale to white in the center. It stays rather dwarf, bears many blooms, and has strong stems.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Spanish bluebell, and Royal fern.
