Notes

'Paradise' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Paradise') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large double flowers open in mid spring and have light flesh-pink outer petals. The centers fade to nearly white and form a star-like shape when fully open. The blooms are fragrant, and the plant flowers freely at a medium height.

Pairs well with Royal fern, Little Beauty tulip, and Arizona Sun blanket flower.
