Notes

'Pastel Rose' peony (Paeonia 'Pastel Rose') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Big round buds open to fragrant, rose-shaped flowers that start pastel rose and fade toward soft coral. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It grows upright to 43 inches and needs no support.

Pairs well with August Moon hosta, White Swan coneflower, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
