Notes

'Pastel Sunrise' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pastel Sunrise') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, pastel pink flowers have a soft yellow center and open in early summer. Each stem carries 2 to 4 buds, and the stems are strong. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Stargazer lily, Dalmatian bellflower, and Invincibelle Ruby smooth hydrangea.
