Notes

'Patience' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Patience') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The late white blooms are double and flat, with incurved petals. Edward Auten, Jr bred it. It does best in a cool climate, and the stems are only fair, so you may want to give them support.

Pairs well with Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea, Royal fern, Pink Impression tulip, and Pearly everlasting.
