Notes

'Patricia Jean' peony (Paeonia 'Patricia Jean') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant double flowers are soft yellow with pink-infused outer petals. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Thick stems hold the blooms up without support, and Tim Stanek bred it.

Pairs well with Wide Brim hosta, Blanket flower, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Queen of Night tulip.
