Notes

'Pax Deorum' peony (Paeonia 'Pax Deorum') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The ruffled double flowers are bright pink and about 6 inches wide. Stems stand upright, so you do not need to stake them. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Goldsturm black-eyed Susan, Rainforest Sunrise hosta, and Sedge.
