Notes

'Pax Romana' peony (Paeonia 'Pax Romana') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its early double flowers are light pink and fade to cream. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Rainforest Sunrise hosta, Christmas fern, and Prairie dropseed.
