Notes

'Peach Melba' stokes’ aster (Stokesia laevis 'Peach Melba') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. The creamy white blooms have a pastel peach center and open from early to late summer, with more in early autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Culver’s root, Big bluestem, and Casa Blanca lily.
