Notes

'Peg of My Heart' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Peg of My Heart') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large, deep cerise pink double blooms open in early to mid spring on strong stems about three feet high. Gilbert S. Richmond bred it, and it blooms freely.

Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Hairy aster, and Pink Impression tulip.
