Notes
'Peppermint Blush' peony (Paeonia 'Peppermint Blush') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant single flowers are creamy yellow washed with pink, and they draw bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Early foliage emerges burgundy and matures to green.
Pairs well with Fire Island hosta, Prairie dropseed, Nodding onion, and White fringe tree.
