Notes

'Peppermint Twist' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Peppermint Twist') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant white blooms have cherry-red streaks and twisted, fluted petals. Plants reach 30 inches tall, and the strong stems carry 3 buds each. William Henry Krekler bred it in 1995.

Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Aromatic aster, and Cinnamon fern.
