Notes
'Perdita Cane' peony (Paeonia 'Perdita Cane') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant mauve-pink single flowers have white flares and attract bees and butterflies. Prof. Harald Fawkner bred it. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.
Pairs well with PowWow White coneflower, Fire Island hosta, and Nodding onion.
