Notes
'Perle d'Azur' clematis (Clematis 'Perle d'Azur') is a vine for containers and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The 4 to 6 inch flowers open light violet and age to sky blue on stems 9 to 12 feet tall. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms from June to September.
Pairs well with Aloha rose, Juuli solitary clematis, and Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea.
