Notes

'Persian Ruby' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Persian Ruby') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It blooms in early to late summer and draws butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything. Fragrant flowers and drought tolerance make it easy to grow.

Pairs well with Caradonna sage, Moonshine yarrow, and Lady's mantle.
