Notes
'Persian Yellow' rose (Rosa foetida 'Persian Yellow') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and background planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Bright yellow, semi-double flowers put on a dramatic show once a year in spring. The arching stems reach 6 to 10 feet tall, and the plant spreads by suckers, so give it room or edge the bed. The light scent is not for everyone.
Pairs well with Snowberry, Anglojap yew, and Snowdrop.
