Notes

Peruvian zinnia (Zinnia peruviana) is an annual for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and containers. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows fast and reaches 24 to 36 inches tall and wide. Red and yellow blooms appear in summer and again in autumn, and they draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees.

Pairs well with Rubenza cosmos, Indian grass, and Limelight Prime panicle hydrangea.
