Notes

'Peter Barr' peony (Paeonia 'Peter Barr') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large, saucer-shaped flowers open in rich crimson and have a fragrance. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Bright green foliage sets off the blooms.

Pairs well with Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta, Nodding onion, and Blue grama.
