Notes

'Petite Elegance' peony (Paeonia 'Petite Elegance') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The soft pink blooms are semi-double, with an ivory glow at the center and light raspberry streaking. They open early and measure 4 1/2 inches wide on sturdy 24 inch stems.

Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Little Beauty tulip.
