Notes
'Peve Tijn' Serbian spruce (Picea omorika 'Peve Tijn') is an evergreen conifer for borders, specimens, accents, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows slowly to about 5 or 6 feet tall and 3 or 4 feet wide with an arching habit. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Birds visit it, and its low upkeep makes it easy to place.
Pairs well with Winterberry, Prairie dropseed, and Tete-a-Tete daffodil.
