Notes

'Nana' Serbian spruce (Picea omorika 'Nana') is a tree for specimen, accent, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. This evergreen grows slowly to 4 to 8 feet tall and wide, and birds visit it. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Give it room to show off its arching shape.

Pairs well with Hicksii yew, Prairie dropseed, and Winter aconite.
