Notes
'Picotee' cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus 'Picotee') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows fast and tolerates drought, so it is easy to keep.
Pairs well with Ageratum, Hidcote lavender, and Franz Schubert garden phlox.
