Notes

'Piibd-Ii' butterfly bush (Buddleja davidii 'Piibd-Ii') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Its arching stems carry fragrant, reddish pink blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Gaura, Creeping thyme, Ornamental onion, and Knock Out rose.
