Notes
'Pinca' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Pinca') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, containers, and pollinator gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows fast, reaches 24 to 36 inches tall, and draws butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Flowers come in early to late summer, and the plant keeps going into autumn.
Pairs well with Snapdragon, Spider flower, and First Knight fountain grass.
