Notes
'Pink Formal' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pink Formal') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large double flowers open mauve pink and age to glossy near-white in early to mid summer. Stout stems form a dense bush with excellent foliage.
Pairs well with Smooth aster, Royal fern, and Spanish bluebell.
