Notes

'Pink Heart Throb' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pink Heart Throb') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant pink double blooms open in early summer and have rounded guard petals. Plants reach about 30 inches tall and have deep green foliage. Roy G. Klehm bred it.

Pairs well with Smooth aster, Royal fern, and Spanish bluebell.
