Notes

'Pink Joy' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pink Joy') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant double blooms open in late spring. Large guard petals hold the soft flowers, and yellow petaloids poke out from the edges. Strong stems hold the 7 inch wide blooms well.

Pairs well with Fire and Ice hosta, Sedge, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Love-in-a-mist.
