Notes

'Pink Mound' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pink Mound') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The light pink double blooms have no stamens and build to an immense size. The rather short, strong stems hold the heavy flowers upright. Carl G. Klehm bred it.

Pairs well with Columbine, Western sword fern, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
