Notes

'Pink Opal' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pink Opal') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The full rose-type blooms are light pink with a yellow flush. Large flowers open in early summer on tall, wiry stems. Jacob Sass bred it.

Pairs well with Columbine, Virginia spiderwort, and Western sword fern.
