Notes

'Pink Platters' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pink Platters') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Pink to deep pink semi-double flowers open flattish in early summer and smell sweet. Each stem carries 2 to 3 buds, and the plant stays about 26 inches tall. Klehm's Song Sparrow Perennial Farm introduced it in 2000.

Pairs well with Arizona Sun blanket flower, Cinnamon fern, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
