Notes

'Pink Salutation' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pink Salutation') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deep pink blooms with cherry-red streaks and cream undertones open from mid to late spring into early summer. Each stem carries 2 to 3 buds, and the flowers have a slight fragrance. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Japanese spirea, Cinnamon fern, and Pink Impression tulip.
