Notes

'Pink Venus' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pink Venus') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its fragrant, soft pink semi-double blooms open in mid to late spring and early summer. Each stem carries three to five buds and has good strength. Roy G. Klehm bred it, and it grows about 24 inches tall.

Pairs well with Coralbells, Sensitive fern, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
