Notes
'Pinkie' cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus 'Pinkie') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows fast into a clumping plant that reaches about 35 to 47 inches tall and tolerates drought. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit it. Deer tend to browse other plants first.
Pairs well with Ageratum, Hidcote lavender, and Franz Schubert garden phlox.
