Notes

'Pinwheel' tickseed (Coreopsis 'Pinwheel') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or clay soil. Yellow flowers with orange centers bloom in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Goldenrod, Little bluestem, Feather reed grass, and Queen of Night tulip.
