Notes

'Pixie Ruby' peony (Paeonia 'Pixie Ruby') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Red single flowers sit up on short, upright stems and open to about 5 inches wide. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Roy G. Klehm bred it.

Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Prairie dropseed, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
