Notes

'Plain ’n’ Pearl' peony (Paeonia 'Plain ’n’ Pearl') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The flowers are rose pink over yellow with small dark flares, and they open in early to late spring. Derek Irvine bred it in 2001. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with David garden phlox, Spiderwort, and Bottlebrush buckeye.
