Plumosum tassel hyacinth

Notes

'Plumosum' tassel hyacinth (Muscari comosum 'Plumosum') is a bulb. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It grows 6 to 9 inches tall and 3 to 6 inches wide, so tuck it near the front of a bed. It sits low on the menu for deer. The violet-blue flowers open in mid spring.

Pairs well with Stargazer lily, Sarah Bernhardt peony, and Gladiolus.
